Random Thought 61 - Worry

For a not so-brave soul, to know is to worry.

Some people prefer not to know some things in advance because they don't want to worry or trouble themselves.  If it is a bad news, some of us would rather not hear it and burden our every second of living thinking of the inevitable.

Though worrying will lead us to nowhere, it is a given fact that we have our own ways in dealing with our troubles. Some of us, when inflicted with a worried state of mind, can't think of other better things but to think only of the unthinkable. And when no immediate solution is at hand, the more we deliberately think of it.

It would be good if we have our family and friends by our side especially during this kind of moment.  By having people close to us on our side, just their mere presence can somehow ease our burden. Their presence is an assurance that we are not alone and help is always within our reach.

But if we are struggling on our own and there's no one to turn to, our worries tend to consume us. If we don't know how to divert our struggles, our existence may be threatened. And that's when the bigger trouble begins.
