You cannot be a friend to everyone and this is a given fact. But when you treat people as your friends and they strike you without warning, it is one of the most painful experiences you'll have to endure.
These opportunistic wolves are the most dangerous people, far worst than the hardened criminals. At least with the notorious criminals, you will be aware of their actions and how they will strike. But with these opportunists, they will strike you as if they are the most noble and sinless beings and still manage to smile when you meet them. You will only experience their venom after they inflict it on you and still act as if no harm had been done.
These kind of people are usually being controlled by a puppet master. And since they are also protecting their own agenda and welfare, their self-preservation and advantage rule over the "friendship" thing. They no longer care about protecting and rescuing their so-called friend and the benefit of doubt had been ruled out by their own self-interests.
Sad to say, I am a victim of these dangerous people whom I treat as "friends". I learned a very hard lesson that no amount of trust and friendship can ever level with selfish acts where betrayal is their glorious act which reminded me of Abel and Cain.
Shame on you people. I pity those mouths you feed. You bring home something to feed your family with what you thought as a reward of your cowardly act. I pray that those innocent beings will not be inflicted by the curse of your own doing. Shame on you.
