Food Trip 51 - Toast

It's new year and after all those festivities, it's about time to trim down those earned fats. And I guess, for older people, it could probably be part of their new year's resolution.

Some people I know who are fond of making their stomach full find it hard to slow down when it comes to eating. When they try to cut down their regular meal, they feel like unfulfilled. The heavier their stomach gets, the more satisfied they become. Well, I can't blame them because some people find joy in eating.

As the saying goes, "The food that we eat tells us who we are." Though one of the best moments in our lives is spending a hearty meal and sharing them with our loved ones, we should also learn to watch what we eat. We should learn how to control our appetite and let not our appetite gain control over us. By doing so and with God's grace, we can still spend more festivities with our friends and loved ones.

Here's a toast to a brand new year and to a healthy and prosperous life for all of us.
