Some say, 'Follow your heart and you'll never go wrong.'
I always believe that the moment I am moved by a certain situation, it seems automatic to me to offer my hand even without them asking for it. You know, it always feel good knowing that you're sharing a part of you and a little act of kindness makes people smile from time to time. And with the passing of time, I effortlessly win a few more hearts of complete strangers.
But not all hearts are appreciative. Even for all the good reasons, some people may not see the wisdom or have a thankful heart to a kind deed you do to them. Lest you give them what they really want all along, your kindness will just imperil you. To these people, your kindness becomes your vulnerability.
We always learn not through our mistakes all the time but about certain situations that keep us to wonder. Are some people really that cruel that despite of you helping them, they still have the nerve and the courage to make your life miserable? No wonder some people tend to turn their heads away or simply have a cold heart because of past experiences. And it is not always safe to consider that you will always be right once you follow your heart.
