No one in this world is spared from having problems. Problems are synonymous with our
existence. Each of us has our own
problems to deal with. And these
problems may make or break us.
We oftentimes hear people saying “You can do it.” If we are in their shoes, most probably, we
will also cheer them up with the same words.
Though we might know what the problem is all about, our best recourse
for a friend in need is to offer our help in the best possible way we can. Nevertheless, the burden lies greatly in the
shoulder of that person.
The moment a problem besets us, especially if it is
something big and out of proportion, our first notion is to worry. Though worrying will lead us to nothing,
still, we cannot help entertaining it.
We worry because we fear of the unknown.
We worry because we fear of the possible outcome that is not favorable
to us. Because if we happen to consider
that the end result will favor our way, then, worrying will have no place in
our mind.
From the words of the wise, when a problem is at hand, try
to compose yourself. Though you will
worry and struggle, a composed person can think objectively and prepare himself
of a good battle plan. In order to find
out and deliver the solution to the encountered problem, a composed person
should endure all the sufferings and yet takes decisive actions in order to
combat it. And just like in any form of
battlefield, only the prepared one with the will to survive wins the game.
It is okay to worry because it is part of the process. But do not confine yourself to worrying alone
because it offers no solution. Exhaust
all possible resources and help, extend your network, reach out to people who
can offer some help and support, and compose yourself and stay strong. Solutions to problems may take some time and
all you have to do is to hang on.
