If there's one Christmas wish you'll ask, what will it be? Will it be a new gadget, a new dress, a pair of jeans, a pair of shoes, a dreamed vacation, someone special, a loving family, or maybe, world peace.
The joy of enumerating our Christmas wishes come Christmas time is already part of our yearly tradition. For kids, it is one moment (aside from birthdays, of course) where their dreams may come true. And for adults, don't believe them when they would say that they don't have any wish at all. Because we know that each and every heart, there's always something we wish for.
Some wishes may be short lived while others wish all their life. Some wishes may be granted and some may not. But whether our wishes may come true or not, the amount of joy we feel every time we make our wishes cannot be measured. Though, we might be devastated or feel ill when our wishes will not be granted but we have a place somewhere in our hearts that make a room for hope. That someday, when the time is right, our wishes will finally come true.
There's only one wish I've been praying for during these trying times. I wish and pray that my battle will be over and win over it. Perhaps, I'll add one more wish - world peace.
Happy holidays to us all.
