Random Thought 12 - Staying Afloat

In life, learning how to stay afloat would be a great talent. Staying afloat means clinging on to a dear life that we treasure the most. Staying afloat means we are trying to survive and make enough effort to give it another try.

Actually, our daily existence is already a struggle. There are instances in our existence that they seem too ordinary that we forget them too easily. And there are also some unforgettable circumstances that being alive is a torment to one’s soul.

But if we have a good disposition in life, if we value it dearly, and we are not too selfish about our own existence alone, we will try to stay afloat despite life’s intricacies and extremities. When we learn how to stay afloat, we are learning the different strokes of survival. When we learn how to stay afloat, it gives us a different perspective of life.

Life is never easy, none actually is. But this should not be a reason for us to simply succumb ourselves to sink at the bottom of the ocean. Trials and circumstances are the tides of life that may shake us from time to time. And staying afloat by giving a good fight could be a reason for a worthy existence of this borrowed life.
