Poem 9 - Child

Teach a child the lessons of yesterday
So that he will be a wise man someday
Show him the prides of his nation
So that he will grow up full of ambitions.

Guide a child to a righteous path
So that his heart will be free of wrath
Shower him with abundant love and care
So that he will grow up free of despair.

Tell a child all those wonderful stories
So that he will have lots of fond memories
Encourage him to explore with curiosity
So that he will grow up to fulfill his destiny.
