Poem 34 - My Epitaph

If I will die today
Don't cry in my wake
Dying is but natural
This is the end of my take.

Don't forget to pray
For my soul's needed salvation
It's the only way out
Towards my dreamed redemption.

If I will die today
Don't forget to smile for me
Don't bury our memories
Please keep them burning over the years.

Carry my coffin if possible
Together with people close to me
Take pride with each slow step
And lay me down as gently as you could be.

If I will die today
I will still live in your heart
As long as you keep me there
We will never be apart.

And every time you remember me
Look towards the heaven and pray
It will bring me joy and peace
Knowing that you still love me.
