Kornik is a town in Poland but I'm referring to the kornik which is a street food in the Philippines.
Some people consider that the town of Candon in Ilocos Sur produces the best kornik in the country. For this reason, locals and visitors coming from Ilocos would normally have kornik as their "pasalubong."
In one of my out-of-town sorties, I happened to notice a kornik stand along the road. The kornik display seemed enticing especially to those people who love spicy food. Aside from being crunchy and topped with garlic, a spicy flavored kornik will definitely give an extra kick especially if you are not fond of chili pepper.

So, how do you like your kornik?
